This collection is exhibited at Fine Art Asia in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with 5 out of 10 paintings sold.
The theme of the collection is based on the idea of mentorship and how your identity is shaped by the people around you. I have picked moments where one person could have changed someone's trajectory or viewpoint in life.
9 of the paintings are Giclee Print on Canvas, and the remaining one is done in Acrylic.
Portion of the revenue are donated to help underprivileged children to attend free art workshops hosted by Art Mentor Education Foundation.
Other exhibitors include MiMeMa and Aki Sung.

朋空想像
IMAGINE HAVING FRIENDS
i did a show about Edward Hopper’s paintings: and as a part of study, i picked up drawing. what then was a chore, became an addiction. i had a sketchbook that i drew obsessively on.
there is this one sketch: that of a man and a woman, inspired mostly by Picasso’s and Keith Haring’s drawings; and this image haunted me for weeks.
during quarantine, i revisited the style. and it didn’t take long for me to remember how much I loved it again. i drew more, eventually, i asked on Instagram if anyone would like me to draw them. and many responded. this is therefore a compilation of some of such friends!
